A tree is a connection between earth and sky, linking roots and leaves, depth and flying.
The owl is a symbol of dark inner power, death of the old Self and renewal.
The serpent, guardian of wisdom, lives up and underneath the earth, between darkness and light. Nearby is the hedgehog, its natural enemy. The intimacy of the nest inspires a truce, they live together respecting each other’s differences.
The knots of a tree are scars. Something dangerous, or too heavy to stand, that had to be cut.
I was born in Friuli where I grew up having a strong relationship with nature.
I am the tree, connected to the heart of the land and to the space of the sky.
Next to a tree I find myself in the right place.
I like using wood because it keeps deep inside the story of the tree.
Bark is like a skin, carrying the signs of time but with an intense strength, enriching the foliage year after year.
There’s so much more about wood, that the heat of my pyrographer turns into my feelings.
