Make the world more green
The sky is all grey due to the smoke from cutting the trees. The grass is so dry and dead. The child with the floral dress is lost but she’s holding on to a flower made out of recycled papers. She’s reaching out to you with one question in mind. Would you save me from this unnatural dark world to a more green joyful world? Cause without nature I can’t find my way back to a world full of green. She’s so passionate about nature and holding on to one hope. The girl is a child to show that it’s her dream since childhood to make the world more green. Also to let the viewer feel bad about harming nature. So the end of the story remains in your hand. Would you help and recycle?’
I am Jumanah Alsalmi born in Sandiago California, but originally from Saudis Arabia. I was raised in Riyadh which is the capital. I am a graphic designer, but most importantly I am a believer in change by design not force. As a designer I create a message to the audience, so graphic design is important. That is why when I graduated from high school I was determined to be a graphic designer. To study graphic design I moved to Jeddah by myself and graduated from Dar Alhekma University. Then I went back to Riyadh, and worked at Pepsi Co., Ministry of Labour and now in GCC. I enjoy my work in graphic design and also photography. It is a way for me to communicate what I see.
